Call for Papers
We invite researchers and professionals to submit their work for oral presentation at INSITU 2026.
All authors must submit a full paper presenting original, unpublished work related to in situ measurement, site characterization, or geotechnical case histories.
Accepted full papers will be published in the INSITU 2026 Conference Proceedings.
Submission implies that at least one author will register and present at the conference. Full papers must be submitted electronically in Word format and will undergo peer review by topic experts.
Authors may optionally submit a full paper for consideration in Indonesian Geotechnical Journal (Sinta Indexed) and IOP Publishing: Earth and Environmental Science (scopus indexed), subject to each journal’s review process and applicable publication fees.

1. What type of paper should I submit?
Authors are required to submit a full paper (4–8 pages).
For keynote speakers and invited lecturers, full papers are also required, with a maximum length of up to 20 pages.
2. Where will the papers be published?
Authors may choose their preferred publication option:

3. What will be included in the conference proceedings?

4. Is it possible to publish my full paper in a journal through this conference?
Yes. Authors may submit their full paper to one of the following partner journals:

All journal submissions are subject to each journal’s review process, formatting requirements, and applicable publication fees.
For authors choosing the journal publication track, an extended abstract will be included in the conference proceedings.
5. How will the submitted papers be reviewed?
All submissions will undergo a peer-review process conducted by the Scientific Committee to ensure quality, relevance, and alignment with the conference themes.
6. Who can present at the conference?
Only authors whose full papers are accepted and have completed registration will be invited to present in the Technical Sessions. Presentations may be in the form of oral or poster sessions.
7. What is the main theme of the conference?
Submitted papers must be relevant to the main theme of the conference. Please refer to the official website for detailed themes and subtopics.
8. How do I submit my paper?
Please submit your full paper through the submission link available on our website.
9. Is there a template for the paper?
Yes. The full paper template can be downloaded from the conference website.
10. What is the page limit for the full paper?
The full paper should be between 4 and 8 pages, including figures and tables.
(Keynote and invited papers may be up to 20 pages.)
11. Can I revise my paper after submission?
Yes. Authors may revise their paper based on reviewer comments and submit the revised version before the specified deadline.
12. Will I receive a certificate of presentation or publication?
Yes. Presenting authors will receive a certificate of presentation, and all accepted extended abstracts will be acknowledged in the conference proceedings.
